I bet ZAIO by PC with a LC green or orange pad work work very well.

I am a long time detailer also and I also buy and sell cars. I hate doing muliple steps on these cars cause they are just going to get sold, but I need something that looks great and will last. Zaio is amazing on used cars and I cannot believe the swirls it takes out and the gloss it leaves behind. The excess is also easy to come off and it leaves no residue neither. It even shines smooth black trim like new. The gloss is very deep also. Wait till you top it with CS. Want even better...top it with z5 pro then cs.

The lexus looks great! you`ll have to start a click and brag when done.

oh ya....forgot to mention this. My friend has a 68 mustang convertible that he painted 8 years ago and he buffed it with some 3m stuff and used filler/ glaze and it washed away a week later. The car has been sitting in his garage for 8 years and it looks like hell. The compound and wool pad combo that he used left nasty deep trail marks. Looks like it just got out of a body shop, oh wait it did! haha! He was a believer in filler/glaze every week for car shows but gave up after a month.

He wanted me to amaze him and show him something quick on his car, but all I had on me was my new zaio and cs and all he had was a rotory with a new 3m wool pad and a finish foam waffle pad (old style). So, I did a test spot for him on his trunk lid with a wool and ZAIO at 2000rpm. I was VERY skeptical at first and had no idea what the outcome was to become, but amazingly it took out the swirls and left a very nice deep gloss. I then used the black finish pad and finished the trunk out and it went fast and easy. I wiped it down and he was devistated at how crytal clear and glossy it was. He ran in the house and grabbed his wife and showed her...I was relieved and I could not believe how well ZAIO worked with the 3m wool pad on a rotory. Believe it or not, it would give my favorite presta 1500 polish a run for it`s money and I mean it was that good.

Good news is that he is way beyond excited now and wants me to do the whole car next month along with his 2 67 Shelby GT500 (428`s). Normally I would not even attempt to do a classic restore like that with a 1 step, but I was bored and had to prove to him they would come out. As I told him I would prove it I forgot that I did not have my stuff with me other than ZAIO.

But the results and the proof were amazing and ZAIO just landed me over $1500 worth of jobs.

I can`t wait! Those are gonna be some real intense click and brags. I told him that I normally do not use an all in one to do prep, but he insisting on it, cause he does not want paint removed. So I might just go that route and top with Z5 pro x3 and then cs. I will be testing ZAIO more on my rotory also.

    No, not at all....

When I first tried Zaino back in 2003, microfiber had not become as common place as it is now. The terry cloths I was using were of suspect quality and left swirls all over my car. :bawling: The car was brand new and I was concerned that I would never get the paint back to looking as it should. I had purchased one one of the first 350z`s to come off the line and I really wanted it to look top-notch. It took a lot of work to get all the swirls back out and after that ordeal (hours spents with 3M SMR and a PC), I never gave Zaino another thought.

As I mentioned, I had been deteailing cars for a while. The terry cloths had been purchased new for this car and I had never used them before. I now use them for cleaning my wheels.:angry

I have since traded the 350z in (first child needed a back seat) and now drive the ES300 you saw in the photograph. Now that I own enough microfiber to cover the state of Rhode Island, I thought I might give Zaino another shot. Now....in all honesty, I`m not completely sold on the CS product yet (again, I`m sure I`m doing something wrong). I can`t seem to apply a small enough amount of the product to get it to do what it is supposed to do.....without having to come back and wipe it down with Z8.....

But the AIO....top notch. I applied it with an cordless, Ryobi orbital buffer and a microfiber bonnet. Finished applying it, let it dry for a while and wiped it off. Easy.

Now, if it won`t offend anyone`s delicate sensibilities, I will also note that I did a test on one panel. After I had let the vehicle sit for a bit, I applied Silver Ice Liquid Polish to half the trunk (I was curious to see how it differed from CS). The result was a reflection that was a little less "dark" than the panel with just AIO, but the relfection was a little clearer, and the paint was slicker, so slick that my microfiber cloth slid right off the trunk. (See?...I`ll try anything :dance )

    Hey Dan

As I love all the Zaino products, If the surface is prepped well, Z5 is unbelievable and is my favorite. It`s deep, wet, glossy, clear all in one! CS will amp the the gloss and highlight it even more. ZAIO is the best one step I have tried and is stronger than people said it was. I will buy more when it`s gone. CS might be a little to glossy for some, but will be on my customers cars that want that BLING!

My process was: Don`t get mad guys...it was just a test panel and I did not have multi towels or applicator at this time. I used paper shop towels to put on and take off z5 and used them to put on CS. No marring at all and zaino is slick and very easy to work with.

    Only a test! Only!

409- to clean fender (haha all I had and all my wash stuff is home in my garage)

ZAIO- rotory with wool (1 minute done) very impressive

ZAIO- PC white LC pad speed #5 (3 minutes) to take out buffer trails and make a swirl free surface

Z5 Pro- by hand (no zfx) right out of bottle (1 minute massaged into paint and left thin haze) Let dry 15 minutes and took off. Was smiling at the finish it left and knowing it won`t wash away

CS- wiped on 1 spray on car and 1 on paper towel (haha) massaged into paint for a minute and well that`s it nothing else to do (way too easy)

Stood back and was amazed at how glossy, deep, and wet it was. Also black Saab paint marrs easy and even with the paper towels I used it did not marr the surface. Zaino even has the protection here also. LOL.

Look 10 times better in person and it was 20 minutes from getting dark out. Sorry! Needed pics though
