I have Mothers...I am about to make a purchase at Zaino. I was wondering if it is worth it to Buy the Z16 along with the Z9 and Z10. Is the shine and durability alot better than the Mothers? $6 vs. $13...must be something different...

They say Z16 is very durable, but takes a few weeks of application to really benefit form any good durabilty. Its considered a sealant type of dressing that actually penetrates into the rubber. For that, I think some members even recommend cleaning your tires often and no dressing for 3 weeks or so...

If you`re willing to do all that, i don`t see why not. I mean, the only reason I haven`t is because I havent purchased it..

And as a matter of fact, I`m currently finishing my bottle of FX tire shine. Its a very good and durable dressing... So if you`re currently using Mothers FX, wait till you finish the bottle, because its not a bad dressing either.

If you like really shiny stick with the Mothers. I find that Z16 isn`t as shiny. It depends on personal preference.

I find with Z16 that if there is not enough gloss after the first application, another application makes it just right. I am not a major fan of a high gloss tire treatment.

I`ve always heard good things about mothers FX, but I could not get good results with it.
