I was checking out the autogeek videos and they use XMT Polishing Pad Conditioner to soften the pad, searching around on this site I`ve seen people mention that product or to use a quick detailer spray.

So...my question is how do you load your pads? Quick detailer spray? Just let the polish/wax smear around the pad? Or do you use XMT Polishing Pad Conditioner or some other pad conditioner brand?

some people will apply a polish/wax on the pad in a "x" or "circle" pattern and then either smear it around or lay the pad w/ product directly on the finish, and then begin their work... if you`re talking about priming the pad with qd/conditoner beforehand, i don`t do it as i just do the above...

You mean before you start polishing with a dry pad right? Hell i just spray some quick detailer on it. Works fine for me, i`m sure i could go all out and buy some special pad conditioner but i`m not as anal as most weekend warriors.

I dont use any QD or anything on my pads. I just put the polish on my pads in an "X" pattern and go at it. If I get a lot of dusting for some reason I just do a squirt of Clearkotes Quick Shine or something I have laying around.
