This is what turns me OFF about zaino is all the z-HEADS going on and on!!!
No doubt it it is a qaulity product as i have used pre-pro and pro versions.
But this plain is ridiculous plain and simple.

I didnt read what you do with the syringes and Zaino?
As stated earlier - I still use Z5pro, but always add Natty`s Blue a few days later.
I washed my car today for the first time since application, nothing really of note. All areas of the hood continue to bead and are as slick (or not slick in the case of CJ) as they were when I applied them. The only real "?" was that the waterspots that developed on the CJ section were strangely hard to remove.

I am not trying to tell you what to do here, just giving you an option.

You know the Z that sticks to the sides of your mixing bottle when you use ZFX? Use a small oral syringe to mix and dispense, and there`s no waste at all. The mL markings on the syringe also let you gauge how much Z you`re using per layer, so you can get a better feel for how much to mix at a time.Originally Posted by jsatek

Yeah, I mix it in the syringe. Usually, I mix up 1/2 or 3/4 oz. at a time (roughly 15 mL or 21 mL, respectively), and I use one drop per 1/4 oz. I`d suggest not trying to mix an entire ounce at once in the syringe, as it doesn`t leave any room to shake the mixture up.
I usually pour some Z into the barrel of the syringe (keeping my finger covering the tip), then however many drops of ZFX I need, then top it off with the rest of the Z. Put the plunger in the barrel, but not very far, then invert the syringe, wait for the Z to flow away from the tip, then allow the pressure created from inserting the plunger to release (if you`re not careful, you may get a little squirt of Z coming out of the tip from the built up pressure). Once the pressure is released, slide the plunger in just a little more, then cover the tip and shake to mix. Once mixed, invert the syringe and remove any excess air.
Ta-da! You`re ready for your Zaino injection.

P.S. Here`s a little trick to avoid dealing with the back-pressure issue: http://autopia.org/forum/car-detaili...tml#post197419
I feel exhausted and giving up just by reading that description? Is it really that much better to be worth so much more hassle?Originally Posted by TortoiseAWD
It`s really, really simple... the syringes work much better than the plastic bottle. You loose no product. My wife is a pharmacist and I can get 30cc or 60cc dirt cheap. The tips are blunt, no metal sharp tips. The bottom line is you use less product. On a normal size sedan, you use 7cc per coat. And BTW, I am a klutz. If it`s easy for me, it`s easy for anyone here on this board. You just have to be open minded to using a product a little bit differently than prior conventional thought.
p.s. I did try the making a hole in the syringe as in the above link. I was less elegant and just gounged a hole using a carpenters awl.
How many coats you can do before you have to throw what is in the syringe away?Originally Posted by Sergei
