Well.. I have a client that owns a few very nice cars. He had been talking about having his whole collection done but today he let me at a few of them.
They were in great condition... no swirls.. not even a need for washing. So I simply quick detailed them with some Megs QD and a MF.. then went to town. I saw that one video where the guy made a few grand by applying wax by hand so I figured Id give it a shot. No foam applicator here... this was done with my fingers. :cooleek:
Here they are... all covered in 5050.
The owner of this car stopped by because he`s buddies with the guy that owns these cars. Told me he`d give me a call once he gets some paint on his beast.
So these are the afters... 5050 went on smooth and came off just as easy. Reflection was EXCELLENT on the black and on the two metallics the pop was enough to poke your eye out. The red was dripping wet... and looks to be a real show stopper on solid colors as well as the metallics.
1987 Buick Grand National. One of my all time favorite cars!
1968 Chevrolet Camaro.
2002 Chevrolet Super Sport Camaro. Sunset Orange Metalic, RARE COLOR!
2002 Chevrolet Super Sport Camaro. 35th Anniversary Limited Edition.
Cliffnotes: Splitting a can of 5050 with a fellow Autopian.. while putting the 5050 into a container for this person I couldnt help but to take a couple of the 5050 crumbles that had fell onto my desk and put them on the diecasts. :2thumbs:
