Maybe this could have been 2 topics...meh

Ive got Optimum Polish right now, Im curious if this works well on plastics, like bumpers and mirrors on Ford pickups, for example?

Also, is Megs #16 paste wax really that much better then Megs Gold Class? Would it be worthwhile to get #16?

No, I wouldn`t use OP on plastics. Klasse AIO is better for that. Gold Class is eh, not so hot durability and alright looks(I only use it for wash+waxes, just trying to use it up). From what I hear, Meg`s #16 lasts a really long time.

#16 looks slightly better then GC, but lasts 4-5 months (at least gives tight water beading that long).

Cool, thanks for the replies! I`m gonna get some Klasse AIO and a tin or 2 of #16.

Bigpoppa, why wouldn`t you use OP on plastics, but you would use AIO? Is it type of polish, or is it how aggresive OP is?

OP really isn`t intended for plastics, as it is abrasive and may stain them. AIO deep cleans and protects the plastic. Always has worked well for me.
