No, it doesn`t have anything to do with spelling; I wasn`t going to be making a bunch of shopping recommendations if I knew you were in France, UK, Croatia, etc.

i`ve purchased from this guy several times, have had good luck:

eBay Seller: frside007: Event Tickets, Window Treatments items on eBay.com

Also, Pepboyz allegedly sells it as does Tire Rack.

I`ve always just cleaned glass well with some aerosol foam glass cleaner... But OPTIMALLY, polish the windshield with some sort of polish, Optimum Polish would be great...

Apply it up and down over the entire windshield, then sideways, then go over it again over the wiper areas. Keep going until all the little beads have turned into a sheet... Might take 10 minutes of wiping, but it will last longer the more you work it in.

The stuff is a godsend for canadian rain-winters.

Yup, I buy mine from Tirerack.com as well. I clean the glass with a windsheild cleaning compound before applying. Stuff lasts forever esp here in Western NY where if it`s not raining it`s snowing.

Cut`s down on my use of wipers dramatically and rainx simply doesn`t compare.

Is Aquapel just basically a more durable Rain-X? One application of Aquapel costs the same as a bottle of Rain-X. I figure with a bottle of Rain-X you can apply every few weeks or so and still have a lot left so is it just the convenience of only having to apply once? I`ve thought about getting Aquapel but if its basically a more durable Rain-X, I think I`ll stick to Rain-X.

I use RainX on my beater and Aquapel on the Audi and there really isn`t a comparison. The latter really leaves you with glass that water (when driving) will just roll off with the wind and not need so much mechanical assistance.

And yes Aqualpel does last longer. I`ve gone 6 months at least before reapplying it.

When I order it I just order enough for 2 full applications (1 year) for the whole car. That`s 4 sticks for me. I use two and put the others up with the rest of my supplies for next time.

In the end though it`s like products for any other application, that is to say it`s a user preference. Does one wax or LSP really out do another? That`s something each and every one of us has to decide for themselves.

I get mine by the case from Zep. I clean my windows with Bon Ami or Bar Keepers Friend then follow Aquapel instructions.

You really can`t compare Aquapel to RainX. RainX doesn`t last and it makes you blades chatter.

Get Aquapel and you will never go back to RainX.

I`ve seen Aquapel OTC at O`Reilly`s parts stores, and I believe at AutoZone, too. PPG just started offering a retail package last year sometime, IIRC.

As Tortise said..a lot of the car parts stores have it now...I bought some at CAP auto parts here in Mass. for 7.00 a applicator....some others have seen it at Napa...Autozone...Advanced Auto....PPG just released it to be sold nationally in Auto Supply Stores....
