    im going to be using the menzerna pg,ip and fp11 lineup tomorrow and am wondering how much polish to use on the pad.im using the pc7424 and doing 2x2 areas,i have lc yellow,orange,white and grey pads.ive searched and have seen anything from a complete circle around the outer edge to a nickel size.how much should i use.

    I use 3 pea sized dots.



    I also spritz my pads twice with water the first 3 2`x2` sections. then once every 2nd` or thrid section after that.



    If an area needs me to work it again, I simply do that spot over.

    I like grouse`s idea, i think i might try doing that instead of putting the"dime sized"ammount on the middle of the pad . . . .

    I`ve been putting the compound/polish on the outer part of the pad. I figure if you put it in the middle, it will just be staying stationary in that spot barely getting on much of the paint. If it`s near the outside, it will spin in a radius working into the paint quicker.

    directly in the middle is almost point less....spread them out, and when you reload the pad, dont use the exact same spots because there will be leftover polish in the original spots...
