Can the Collinite products be purchased OTC? I read a thread on here and thought I saw that it could, but my search turned up nothing. :usa

I`ve seen Collinite 845 at Advance Auto. I`ve read that you can find Collinite products at Marine supply shops as well (but have never actually checked.)
Unfortunatly, I can`t find them locally anywhere, Advance Auto or any marine boat
place. Only get them on-line, got mine from a motorcycle / Honda place, 2 for $ 25,
I think, free ship !!
845 IW is top quality :spot
I can buy Collinite locally at my auto paint supply store. It carries 3M, Meguiars, Aurora products. My local boat marine store carries Collinite. Never saw Collinite for sale at Autozone, Pep Boys, NAPA, Carquest here in CT.
On another note, local NAPA and Carquest stores should carry Duragloss products but most do not in mid-CT. So its really hit-or-miss depending on the franchisee.
I would bite the bullet once and order online if needed.
If you can`t find it and you live near water look for a boat/sailing store.
The 845 is the exact same as the boatwax 925.
this supplier sells collinite and has free shipping....http://www.mactecllc.com/collinite.asp

I know I can get it at the local Detailer Supply and maybe at one or the other Auto Body Supplier. Not sure if I`ve seen it at Pep Boys but I do know Parts America/Advanced Auto carry it.
Collinite is much like Duragloss in terms of distribution....some cities/towns carry it, others don`t. I have checked nearly every parts store and most of the local marine stores here in town, and Collinite is nowhere to be found. :nixweiss Just another one of those "jewels in the rough" kinda things...lucky if you can source it locally.

Not widespread.
As stated above, it seems to be very liked by certain local niche type shops.
Good luck finding it.

is it good stuff?
Collinite good stuff? Absolutely, easy to use, cheap and lasts 5 months at least. Good looks, too.
