    Hello

    Im brand new to this sight and not quite sure if im in the proper section to ask questions..however im looking for product & suggestions for better ways to clean the plastic windows on rag-tops.

    Any quality auto parts/products store should carry a type of plastic polish. Personally I think you will find a lot of board members here recommending Meguiars PlastX (www.Meguiars.com) Hope it works out for you.

    Platx works well, but it cannot correct everything, depending on how bad it is. I use 1500 grit sandpaper to start, then Meg`s diamond cut cleaner, then plastx to finalize the process. That`s how I do headlights, which is similar to ragtop backlights. Also, be sure to use a window cleaner with no ammonia, like Stoner`s Invisible Glass, to extend the service life of your window(s). Same goes for tinted windows.

    plastX is a great product as said above. I use it on the head/taillights of the tC every couple of months to keep everything clear and shiney
