Hey all I am new here but not to the detailing world. I have tried many many products over the years but KSG was one I never tried.

I used it over AIO on sunday, applied it very thin and let it dry for about 3 hrs and went to remove it. WOW WHAT A CHOIR!!!!!!! It was like concrete on the finish and removing it was almost unbareable.

I was wandering if I did something wrong or if this is just the nature of KSG. I love the look and want to do another layer or 10 but am very skeptical after the first layer.

Was wandering if anyone has any hints or tips for applying or removing this stuff?

    My process was:

Menzerna IP - Yellow cutting pad

Menzerna FP - White Combo pad.

    AIO - Damp finishing pad

KSG - Dry Microfiber pad by hand Removal a bare!!!!!!

Thanks for any help or tips,

    Tommy

Don`t let it sit for 3 hours. I mean it depends on the temperature and humidity but 3 hours seems like it was to long for you. Try an hour at the most and see if that helps.

It was the difficulty in removal of the KSG which put me off of adding extra coats too. I used a QD dampened MF to assist in the removal, but even so in my opinion, the finish wasn`t worth the effort needed to remove it.

I am now a convert to Poorboys EX-P which in my opinion offers a much better finish, with a lot less hassle.

I have just regained consciousness after being forced into a coma by your word usage mistakes in the original post...

Anyway, two things here: 1) You used too much product, and 2) You used too much product.

when people say apply it thin....that mean so thin its almost nothing, thinner than whatever your thinking of!!

a few pea sized drips should do half a average roof...once applied you should struggle to see it
