they are 2 diferent type of products. OCW, AW, Z8 are all spray sealants. 425 is a QD with polymer additives. 146 is a cleaning QD.

I`d get both. You can only get 425 from Finish Kare...

Both are totally different products as mentioned above. The #425 is a qd, and the OCW is a spray wax. Get both, they are great.

The closest FK alternative to OCW is the FX-100 yet it is still a slightly different product.

FX-100 is a sealant glaze. More than a QD, it enhances an LSP and adds some protection.

It likely doesn`t last as well as OCW but it is still a terrific product.

As stated above FK 425 is a QD and a great one at that.

To add something else into the mix, look at Duragloss Aquawax. A great product and can be used as a LSP or a topper for your current LSP.

I like to have all of them in my arsenal. :cooleek:

I have both #425 and the OCW. I use Optimum No Rinse to wash my car and apply the OCW before I dry the car and love this combo. If you want something to use after washing the OCW is fantastic....very easy to use, economical and looks great. The OCW has no cleaning properties and should not be used as a QD product. The #425 is a QD that leaves a very slick surface and smell great. However, in my opinion it is on the low end of QD products for cleaning ability. Looks great and is very slick but I like other QD better (specifically QuickShine).

It really depends on what you your objective is as to which one is right for you. Do you primiarily want cleaning, looks, slickness, protection, durability or all purpose?

You can use it as often as you`d like. There are no abrasives or cleaners in it AFAIK. It`s basically a spray wax that I believe has polymers in it. I find it best to use it over a base coat of wax, as it will increase durability exponentially if used after every wash.

I have both(OCW and 425). Both are great products, like above say. The #425 its a QD, it doesnt last long(2-3weeks) and whereas OCW its a LSP(last 2-3months)

Interesting. I tend to use it as a base for carnaubas since OCW has carnauba, polymers and UV protection.

It does work just fine over cured carnaubas and sealants as well.
