A couple of weeks ago I used a white LC pad to apply FPII. After finishing I rinsed the pad thoroughly and believed I got all the product out, then let it air dry. Once dry, I placed it into a ziplock pad. When I looked at it tonight, it had all kinds of dark spots which looks like mold. Is this possible. Is my pad now ruined? Guess I should invest in a brush to scrub the pad after rinsing. Any thoughts? Thanks

I suspect that the pad was not dry when placed in the ziplock & developed mold....I do not seal any of mine, let them air dry complete and store on end in an open box....

If it`s the LC VC pad available from CMA, the white foam is a closed-cell foam and holds a ton of moisture...for a long time. Next time, let air dry for longer (sorry to state the obvious). And I`m sure it`s not ruined...just reclean with a strong degreaser or even an APC.

That happened to one of my megs applicator sponges. Got coloured spots all over it. I`ve washed it a few times now and they`re still there so I figure its ok to use still.
