Rather awkward, but after detailing 2 cars my lower back is giving out at age 22! I`ve been looking around for a stool that sits low and have not been successful. Went to Target today and found this little guy. Maximum load of 300 lbs and it costs $5.99.

Not sure if it`s going to be comfortable or not, but I figured that I can sit on it and use it to clean trucks/SUVs. What does everyone else use, and where did you buy it?

I have a creeper / seat similar to this one that I`ve had for several years and it has held up well. Not good as a step if you`re trying to reach high, but excellent for a seat or creeper on lower body detailing or routine mechanic work.

IIRC, mine came from Wal-Mart and cost about $50. YMMV as this was several years ago, but I would think that something similar could be had at most home centers, auto parts stores, etc.

I`ve got this roller seat from Harbor Freight. It has an adjustable pneumatic lift for height. Considering the price ($40), it`s held up pretty well.
