In order to figure out whether to go with RMG or VM, I need some advice...

RMG is highly touted for darks (reds, blacks) and has `color enhancers, etc...`. How is it on lighter colors or inbetweens? VM, on the other hand, seems to be excellent on all colors. My preference would be to buy only one of these, not both. The obvious answer would be VM, but, since 2/3`s of my cars are darker is RMG substaintially better on the darker colors that I should go that route?

Also, I assume that either of these can be topped with WG, UPP, EX-P. Correct me if I`m wrong.

    Thanks for your input!

well the RMG will add a nice wet, deep look, while the VM will do that also, not as well, but has more polishing ability for light swirls...so its up to u

Slight difference in finish (+ to RMG), slight difference in polishing (+ to VM).

Have you used either of these before any of these sealants: UPP, WG, EX-P, FMJ???

I used the RMG for the first time today...and I absolutely LOVED it. Easy to use, and added great depth to the paint.

Thats with Optimum Polish, RMG, and CMW

In my opinion it`s worth having them both and they`re both only about $15.00 each, but if I had to choose one, I`d probably go with VM for it`s better polishing qualities. I love RMG on my black Mustang though.

True, buying both won`t break the bank, but I am was hoping to stretch the $$ as much as possible this year. Anyway...

    * Anyone use RMG on lighter colors, for example, silver, white, etc?

    * Need member opinions and experiences with sealants over RMG and VM.

    Thanks.

RMG is outs5tanding on all colors. However, if you only were to get one I`d go with VM because it has more polishing power.

What about hand application... I already have used VM as a "cleaner" step by hand with a terry cloth pad and really liked the results, would following it up with RMG be a good idea? I`d probably top the RMG with Natty`s Blue then.

What if your car does not need polishing. You just use PO85RD? I go with the RMG!

OK, between this post and some others I`m getting the distinct impression that VM & RMG don`t like sealants on top of them. Of the waxes that I have and use, I`m now wondering whether OCW might be a good topper for VM or RMG. What say you?

I have both. If I had to have one, I would get VM because of it`s versitility. It`s excellent on glass and as an all around cleaner.

What about "Pink Moose"???. I am thinking of mixing VM and RMG 50/50??? Scott seems to have great success with it.

Do either of these contain any fillers? I feel like I heard they do, which I would actually prefer if they did..
