I`ve been using Collinite 845 exclusively as of late. I notice that while slick after application, several days later the finish is MUCH slicker. Do all Carnuabas act this way? Is 845 a true carnuaba or is it a carnuaba/synthetic mix. It seems hard to believe it pure carnuaba with its durability.

Some carnauba hybrids contain amino functional poly/co-poly resins which fully cure within 48 to 72 hours - hence the improved gloss and slickness.

It wouldn`t be much fun applying a pure carnauba wax.

That stuff is very hard. If not for the solvents and additives we wouldnt have anything like Souveran that applies and wipes off so smoothly.
