The last time I used a carnuba was over 4 yrs ago. I`ve been using Zaino since then and now want to finally broden my product selection.

So I`m gonna top the Z2pro on the wifes 740il.

What I want to do is:

QD the car with Z6, I also have some Body shine #49 QD. Which should I use?

Apply NB one panel at a time with a foam pad, then remove with MF. Should I use a circular motion or back and forth to apply the NB?

I hope to do the car before noon, its supposed to rain tomorrow. How long does the car need to sit after I remove the NB before its driven in the rain?

Within the next month I might repolish the car with 106FF followed by prime and a few coats of AJ, then maybe even some CJ as a topper after that.

This is what the car looked like about 6 weeks ago following a QEW wash. Looks the same now.

I will take some before and after pics.

    Thanks for your time.

I`d say if it rains before 24 hours have passed, durability may be slightly compromised. How much exactly, I have no idea.

Thanks Scott. Guess I have to put the car seat in back of my 2 door beater if it rains tomorrow.

Carnuaba`s are inert and no curing is occuring. Rain will only effect a more rapid depletion of the appearance ingredients (oils, silicones, etc) but protection (carnuaba) will still be there and unaltered. The time required microscopic "leveling" of the product will also be effected if rained on close to application. :bolt
