I did a search, but I didn`t find anything addressing my idea.

I was thinking, would it be good to have QEW/water mixture in a spray bottle and leave it in the trunk for emergencies like bird crap and random mud splatter, etc?

Would it be too cold in the winter?

Would it be too hot in the summer?

Is it better to buy some off the shelf spray cleaner?

This was discussed a long time ago, and most people felt that QEW didn`t work as a QD. I have some in a spray bottle, and find that it tends to bead up and roll off more than penetrate a bird bomb as you would like it to. And yes, stuff freezes in the trunk in the winter.

If your surface is right, you should be able to blast most bird crap away with plain water in a spray bottle. This is done w/ a paper towel or cotton towel around the area to "catch the crap" Then grab any off the surface that is left. Maybe some QD after.

I personally wouldn`t try to get mud splatter off with a QD, I don`t think that it provides enough lubrication to prevent the dirt particles from marring the paint. For birt droppings though, I do carry around some Quickshine and a few MF`s with me in a small container behind the drivers seat.

So it sounds like for bird crap and mud splatter I should have both QD and QEW...

    Is Poorboy`s the best QD?

I`d just run to the quarter car wash and blast it off.

I use QEW in a spray bottle for wheel touch up and bird crap cleanup with good results. Works better on the wheels though. It`s got some QD mixed in it as well. As with just about anything you see on here, try it and see if you like the results.
