Car covers can discourage a potential burglar. Do you believe it?

Whether you believe it or not, I do not believe it.

In my Impression, can covers only can keep dust, rain, snow, UV, birds droppings and so on away from your car.

Yesterday I saw one leave a reply on my other topic of "share photos of car covers". In his reply, there is a video; you can see a car cover like an old car which nearly stops its service life.

So old car, I thought no one will pay their attention here. Is that meaning this car cover can discourage a potential burglar?

Add 3 photos from that video:

Enjoy convenience and enviroment-friend from car covers.

If fitted with a lock that secures the cover to the vehicle it may discourage random theft, but a professional will target certain vehicles and a mere cover will not deter them

Can I ask, what is your connection with car covers (your user name and the posts you answered are all on the same subject)

What gets overlooked too often is that one must be a student before becoming a teacher.

When I see a car cover, I assume something nice is under it.
