The deposit that they ask for goes towards the price of the car, right? It`s not a "fee"?

If you place a deposit - be sure to ask. When it comes to buying a car, never assume anything, and always get it in writing.

It`s true, always ask. But 99.9% of the time it goes to the sale price.

Having gotten the short end of the stick when I bought my latest car, this is about the best advice I could offer anyone.

If it`s not in writing, it will not happen.(not neccessarily true, but assume this and your life will get easier)
