Cmax wants 122.00 dollars for a 3M packing plate ($64 and change) and $20.00+ per pad which IMO is a rip off! Is there any other place on this side of the border that is more reasonable. The guy wouldn`t accept a cash offer (which he has done before)

So I can use the 3M 3 step polishing system along with their pads and everything else. I just cant justify paying 120 bucks for them.

Im sure that you dont HAVE TO, however I dont have any more pads of any kind and since my friend is a proffesional body man and owns his business he recommends these pads as well. I figured since I would have to buy pads again to go with my new Makita 9227 I may as well buy the 3M stuff.

That is the going price for 3M pack plates and pads. You are lucky to have even found them locally.
