I`m looking for the best detailer (autopia level) in the Ottawa area with regard to a rail dust problem. Any suggestions for this time of the season? Original thread was posted as follows:

I`d say you`ve found him. gtpaul is in Ottawa and as far as I can tell, he`s damned good. It sounds like from your thread you may need a decontamination + clay, or just a good aggressive clay then light polish. I`m sure Paul can take care of either.

I can take a look at the car. If it is just rail dust then there should be a huge problem in removing it. When removing rail dust and other contaminants like this, you will often need to compound and polish after to remove the scratches/swirls/marring created. (which is what the dealership created and didn`t remove).

Knowing what kind of vehicle it is: not 2008 Japanese roadster, We need to know what kind of paint we are looking at. Honda S2000 paint, Nissan 350z paint.. etc.
