UPS can litterally rape and pillage with their fees. My last item was $80 and I paid $60 in fees/duty/taxes/etc. I used UPS Ground, which is the cheapest method. I inquired about this to the driver who delivered it (re: don`t shoot the messenger) and he said to never use their ground service or you will get raped. Go the next step up and use their air service or higher. Apparently the brokerage fees are built into the cost of the higher shipping methods, whereas Ground, they fleece you at the door. I have`t tried this yet, because their higher servies aren`t cheap, but maybe if your desperate and need UPS, that is the way to go.

You guys know that if you refuse the UPS delivery, UPS will call you back a few day later and waive their brokerage fees. It`s easier and cheaper for them than sending it all the way back to whomever you bought it from. Otherwise UPS will be forced to pay for sending the package to you, and then sending it back, as the clients usually refuse to pay UPS for an undelivered package.

I`ve never heard this happen. As far as I know they just return to sender to keep the package.

I dunno. I wouldn`t trust them. UPS is ruthless. They`re the delivery service from hell.
