    Re: That will buff out..

Yes, sir, my father has been looking for one of these for a while, this one came up for auction (Which I never check, just pure coincidence).

31k miles, One owner, we just got it back to the house, sure enough, it runs and drives. A close friend of mine has a shop, were going to barter details for framework! The assembly, along with the electrical I can handle no problem. It was too good pass up, a hell of a rare car (Rarest Year (09), Rarest model (55 Amg w/Sport kit), along with the rarest options (P30 Pack) and perfect service records to boot... I couldn`t let it go to the wolves.

Here a few quick snaps, VERY odd hit. I can`t believe the bumper held up this good??

The Driver- Hey, that`s GREAT! I love that you guys really appreciate how special that particular unit is and that it won`t get parted out.

The frame (!!*FRAME*!!) work would make me nervous, but it sounds like you have confidence that it`ll turn out OK, so good on you for not only saving it, but also for sharing it with us. I`ll be looking forward to updates

And yeah, most Benzes come through accidents really well. That company *knows* how to build a car, always have.

The Driver- Ah, progress! No fluid leaks/running OK is a good start And having it cleaned up oughta make for a better Project Car Experience in all sorts of ways.

    Updating this for posterity.

On the rack being disassembled, front bar was pulled and split into two pieces and re-glued then painted. All panels, painted off the car and reassembled.
