It`s actually funny cause I could have panel painted it. It matched that good and this wasn`t expensive paint. I had some left over from the hood that I did a few months back. This was an insurance job. The glass guy broke the rear quarter glass taking it out so that was a mess trying to get a new one. An OEM one was like $500 installed. Aftermarket doesn`t make one with the diversity antenna. I told the owner that the glass place broke it and would have to do a supplement on the insurance and she called saying that I shouldn`t be liable for the expense and the insurance shouldn`t be liable for the expense. They had already cut the check and was sending it out when she called them so the payment went on hold. That almost cost me the price of a window but they went ahead and sent the check.

On another note I sprayed the color and clear with a $25 paint gun I was playing around with.

xtremekustomz- Ah, glad the paint matched OK and the Ins. came through on the glass, hope it wasn`t too much of a hassle getting the replacement.

What had you playing around with another/cheapie paint gun?

It is an lvlp gun. Just trying to cut down on overspray.

Ah , lvlp..stuff just keeps changing! Yeah, less overspray makes everything easier huh?

Heh heh, I bet I think of your work at least weekly...whenever the Tahoe or Crown Vic make my wallet nervous. (sigh..one day I just won`t be able to stand `em any more and I really will have some work done..)

Yeah I just got an iwata lph400 which is an lvlp gun. I haven`t used it yet. A lot of the guys who use the same products as me get great results with them
I normally use a sata rp which is like a water hose. This iwata is a bit slower I think.
