    Next Big Project

A friend of mine from Jacksonville is having a truck built in Texas right now. They are in the process of building the new frame and doing the air ride, body drop and possibly a sheet metal dash. I should be getting it within the next 3 months I am thinking. You never know about some of these shops though. Anyway...here is the rendering he had drawn up. Should be a fun project.

Whoaaa!! Very cool!! What are your plans for it? Will you be cutting/buffing to get the paint perfect? Have you seen the paint yet or is it too far out from being completed? I`d love to see any progress pics if you get any.

I am going to be the one painting it. I plan to shoot 3-4 coats of clear after the color goes on, sand and shoot 3-4 more flow coats of clear (over reduced so it flows flatter) and then cut with either 800, 1000 or 1200 for initial cut depending on how flat it is and then to 1500 3000 and 5000. Then polish it out to perfection
