Silverstars are awesome. Put them in my Focus, and will NEVER go back. Any car I buy will get them. Can`t rave enough about them.

I`ll be stopping by my local Checker this week to pick up a pair.

I`ve heard SilverStars are an improvement from stock. My one friend put one of them in his motorcycle and noticed an improvement, granted his bike his 15+ years old and the headlight itself is cloudy. I have read on CRSX that RSXs and SilverStars don`t get along to well though. It seems they always burn out within a couple of months for pretty much all the members. People speculate its the H1 bulb itself.

On a side note... any of you 9003 (H4) guys looking for a good HID kit, cheap, I posted mine up on aBay and i`m pretty desperate to get rid of them now.

I picked up a pair of them today. I got $10 off instantly (there was a coupon in the store ad) and a sheet for a $10 rebate. If I can ever get the old ones out I`m anxious to see the new/old lights side by side. I`ll have to read the owner`s manual steps AGAIN I guess...

Hey Scott is there a trick to removing the headlamps on your Mazda? There are two tabs on mine that you`re supposed to squeeze in, and then pull it straight back. But it doesn`t want to pull back when I push the tabs in. Any advice?

What size bulb is it? If its an H3 there`s a screw holding a clip on. A buddy and I had a hell of a time putting silverstars into his isuzu because we didn`t know about that screw.

 I have H4/9003 bulbs, just a twist and I can pull them out. If you have 9005/6 bulbs, keep squeezing. I had a hard time with the original bulbs in my Honda.

I can`t twist mine. The manual says to push the tabs in on the back of the bulb, and then to pull straight back. I guess your car is different.

When you guys get done pulling, twisting, and squeezing, maybe you can tell me how to get this *&%#$ doorknob off of my bathroom closet so I can fix the lockset. Cuz no matter what I do, it don`t wanna come off.

How do you know which bulb to buy? If I wanted to put them on my 1996 Civic (the current lighting blows) which size/model do I look for?

    thanks.

Go into your owner`s manual, all bulb replacement numbers should be in there, if not call the local dealer or the guy at the counter should be able to help you.
