Looks great, the wheels really fit the car

Now all you need is a full razzi body kit, and you`ll be set..lol :cooleek:

No Razzi kit for me :grinno:

Right now I am worried about getting my calipers painted and possibly installing new rotors. After that, a set of Eibach Pro-line springs to clean up that wheel gap.

Just a little word of advice on painting calipers: I`ve done a couple of cars, the first one using the G2 Caliper Paint system that uses a hardening catalyst that you mix into the paint. It worked great, but it cost close to $40 including shipping. From a few other car forums I read a lot of evidence indicating that plain old Krylon or Rustoleum would work just fine. The clincher for me on this was a guy on the Miata forum who used plain old Rustoleum on his calipers three years ago, and he autocrosses his car a couple dozen weekends a year. No problems at all.

So, when I did the calipers on my Miata, I used some flat black spraypaint I had in the garage, sprayed it into a paper cup and brushed it on (after a thorough cleaning, of course) and haven`t had a hint of a problem yet. This includes cleaning with various wheel cleaning products and brushes. Save your money, and get a huge range of color choices to boot!

Great looking wheels you have on a really nice looking car - you`re still smiling, aren`t you?

You know honestly Mike it hasn`t set in yet that I have new wheels....its weird. At times I forget that I have them and I look at my car and go d**m....then I cant wipe the smile off my face. I guess since I always wanted wheels but never could afford them its just hard to believe.

Thanks for the tip on the calipers. If I go that route I should be able to get them painted this holiday.

I know the feeling. When I got my wheels last summer, I just couldn`t stop staring at the car. It looked SOOOO much better with nice alloys, rather than the 14" steelies with the curbed wheel covers. I`ve always wanted wheels too, and I got some 17s for my Maxima, but I never got to put them on. I ended up cleaning them up real nice and sealing them, and then I decided to buy the Protege. I sold those wheels for more than I paid for them though! A little cleaning/shining goes a long way! :xyxthumbs
