    hftw Audi 6.

your talking about the compression right?

the type s i think is 11:1 which is REALLY high to me...but people still turbo them( integra type Rs which have 11.5:1 compression i think).

go to revscene.net some people there if i remeber correctly have turboed rsx type s.

but if you have not been here go here and ask them.

    clubrsx.com

OO make sure you find a very reputable place to do it. i would never trust half assed places, to turbo a beater let alone a car with 11:1 compression. If it is tuned correctly you will not encounter any problems.

Gosh, I learned 2 things from this thread:

Front wheel drive cars are worth improving. Hmmm, I`ll ponder that...

The word "wut" has meaning. Hmmm, I`ll ponder that...

vick-e-yea i`m sorry i forgot the word but yes compression is WHAT i was talking about it is 11:5 i beleieve and a couple of my friends in a local street racing "crew" SIR say that they would supercharge a car with that compression....the other good side of that is they have a guy who does supercharges and turbochargers either way i am set with that! He just supercharged my friend A-Rods brand new S2000 sh**`s hot!!!

-Jimmy Buffit- sorry my english isn`t totally on i will work on it for u!!!!! :up and of course front wheel drive cars are worth improving!

Jimmy, I felt the same way. I really just prefer RWD cars, even with my *limited* driving experience. However, for someone my age and his (I think he`s 17...?) it`s not too, too bad.

k series refers to the engine.. and as far as turboing or supercharging goes.. have fun doing it to a k series.. ill like to see how long you can drive your car before it blows up. the compression is already so high.. you`ll have to spend thousands of dollars to get your car prepped for forced induction. you`d be better of getting a 5spd base rsx and turboing that b/c the compression is lower.

Yea i`m 17 and personally i think that fwd cars and fine compared to rear. I actually think that if they are worked properly the are better in some ways. Idk yes i love rear wheel drive cars but i know a couple fwd cars that could give many rwd cars a run for there money!!!

Navindra- I think i would go with the supercharger if anything! I have been doing a lot of reading and finding that turbocharging the high compression v-tecs and Type-r`s can actually do more harm then good! Now i just have to see if that is any good for the car!! ugh

ive watched two blown rsx`s fry their engines, and ive heard multiple stories of boosted rsx`s bending rods, shooting pistons through the head.. etc... thats why im going na. ill still have honda reliability, with a low 12 second car

    Low 12`s, eh?

What are you mods besides the goodies you just got in? Headers, exhaust, CAI, ?

I assume it`s handling is amazing.

Me, I prefer turbos. Look at my avatar. There`s just something about that spooling that makes me grin.
