...or would it be a nose job?? :nixweiss

I just had the stock hood of my 2002 Lightning replaced with a Cervini`s Ram Air hood. I was VERY pleased with the overall construction of this piece. It`s a heavy gauge fiberglass and fits 99% as well as the stock metal hood. The scoops are functional in that they are open directly to the engine bay but are not hooked up to any ram air device. They serve more as functional heat extractors. The body shop did an AWESOME job of matching the color and keeping the clear overspray to a minimum. If you are looking for quality fiberglass pieces I would highly recommend the folks at Cervini`s.

    1 Clean WS6,

That hood looks awesome on the L. I have been looking at the Cervinis Ram-Air hood myself for the Mustang for some time. Just too many choices and I can`t make up my mind. I also like the Mach-1 setup, the Steeda cowl induction hood, the 03/04 Cobra hood, etc......

Here is the Cervinis Stalker body kit for the Mustang. Just can`t bring myself to drive the Mustang around with the word "Stalker" on my rear bumper but, I do love the hood

chaotik...they blended the fenders to perfectly match the hood color.

rjstaaf thanks for the compliment and I understand the "Stalker" thing completely!! What about just getting the hood??

I think now that the `05 Mustang is out we probably won`t see any new body kits for this body style. Of all the kits that are floating around I am debating between the Roush Stage 3 kit and the Cervinis Stalker Kit or some combination of both.

Gonzo that is an awesome functional set-up but the lines of that hood are a bit too bold for me.

I went and test drove an 01 on saturday, man did it get me excited. Esp. w/ a nice whipple upgrade

That test drive was a complete fluke as I wasn`t even considering it, but now a used lightning is definately in the mix.

Lightning, Evo, Magnum RT, or Cheby Duramax

    That hood looks sweet!

Anyone hear the L is no more so keep `em if you got `em. Ford officially cancelled any plans for a new Lightning. If they do bring it back it will be 2008 or later.
