OK, here is what i am thinking. Autopia can help make up my mind.

I can get the same wheels i have now in chrome. Which would save me some money as i won`t need new tires.

    or

i could get a set of 18 with new tires that will make the car look bigger but may screw up the ride a litt.e It cost a lot more as well.

not sure which way i want to go right now. I am dropping some money into this truck to quick. I just ordered navigation for it as well.

What do you use on the tires to get them so damn wet?

I go to school with someone who has the same truck in black. He has a Billet Grille, 20" Chrome Wheels, and Flowmaster Cat-back Exhaust. Nice, simple mods, but it just sits as such a "tastefully done" SUV to me.

If you do chrome rims, I`d paint the mirrors, door handles, and roof racks white to match and get chrome running boards.

I am not going to paint the handles and mirrors because they are textured and it will not look right. I am going to go and get the painted handles and mirrors, it will look much better.

As for getting the wheels so wet, I use stoner trim shine and soak the tire. This is a wheel we did today.

first we cleaned the rim & tire.

then we just clean up the wheel, and it`s done. Just needs about 10 min dry time when doing it this way. That is why we wash the car, then do the tires, then continue to detail. this way by the time we are done the tires are dry

If you don`t mind me asking, which nav system did you go with? What was your criteria for selecting it?

    Very nice ride!

I did a lot of research on the navigation. I looked into everything and called each company for even more info. I started tooking for navi when i had my diamante, and have not stopped till the other day when i finally ordered it.

I went with the Garmin 2620.

    http://www.gpsdiscount.com/products/index.html?p=803

It has all the options I am looking for. It talks and tells you when to turn. I has auto re-route, it is all preprogrammed so i do not have to upload anything. Touch screen & alpha remote. It can also come with me from car to car.

But what really sold me was that my uncle has it, i tried to get lost with it and i could not. I went into NJ where i have no clue where i was. All i did was enter my home address and it took me all the way home. It was amazing. I did not even have to look at the screen, it spoke to me and said "left turn 100 ft" then as you get closer it says "left turn 10ft" it was amazing. Even if you miss the turn it automatically takes you another way.

It sits on the dash very nicely and does not move even in hard turns. At night it lights up nice and looks good. It matchs the color of my car so it almost looks factory, but i take it out every night.

If you do a lot of traveling i would look into this.

We pick up the wife`s new Envoy tomorrow night. Black with high polished aluminum wheels. The dealer knows not to wax it. I`ll get to spend my weekend giving it some special work. Right now, I`m thinking Vanilla Moose topped by EX-P x2 and topped by Natty Wax,

It is the wife`s truck, so I guess I shold make here help out as well. Now I need to find some cool options for it...

Congrats on the new truck! Very nice, white should be low maitenance.

I say keep it stock on the outside, it looks so much better that way. The tint up front is a very nice touch to blend the lines of the truck.

white is just a pain as black. with black you will see dust and swirls. with white you see every piece of tar, bird crap, mud, and it gets dirty real fast. I just like the way white looks when done right.

NYD is right. The WReX is the first white car I have ever had, and I have never used so much AIO and clay in my life. From up close, that car is always dirty. Congrats on the new ride, Brian.:up
