Nice Mach I. My wife loves her Mustang. She is stepping up to a Cobra in about a year. Enjoy!

Toto it works like this. You post a picture of your car and you tell how you made it shine.

Sorry rightlane...my bad. Didn`t know the procedure.

I was using Meguiars store bought stuff and went to the Pinnacle kit (pre-clean + Souveran). Did a very nice job all by hand. I don`t think I need a PC yet for this car with the finish it presently has...but my wife`s suv could use it (that`s justification for purchase right?).

I`ll be garage queening it for bad winter days, but will drive it some this winter.

:lol Your car can`t be a garage queen part time. Garage queens are full time no salt, no snow, no rain kind of cars. Keeping it in the garage durring bad winter days is called "keeping it in the garage durring bad winter days."

Seriously though, that is an excellent looking car. I have never been a fan of the 99+ bodystyle. I had a 97 and I loved that style. I loved everything about that car. Then they came out with the new body style and made it look like the car was on a 3" lift kit and made it too boxy. Your Mach 1 doesn`t have any of the things I dislike about the newer style Mustangs. It looks really nice. Great choice in color too. That has to be about the best color out there.

Nice car!!!!! I want one real bad, I sat in one at the NY Auto Show this year and I just loved that view of the shaker hood.

I love the combination of the new and old in this mustang.

The MACH 1 is just about as quick as the new Cobra too.

Welcome and good luck with it. Keep it shining and enjoy it!!!! :xyxthumbs

    4 valve

    shaker hood

Gotta love it, I picked up a 03" GT back in June and love it. Now start modding it.....lower, exhaust, gears, chip and so on and so on.

I am sure you have checked out the mustang pages but

The Corral, probably the best IMO

Stangnet, tech is good but the lounge has some "kids" from time to time

    and finally Modular Depot

Sorry man gotta address this, the two aren`t really close. The cobra`s is a S/C 4 valve ( stock ) and the Mach 1 is a N/A 4 valve.

Granted the Mach 1 is still faster than my 2 valve GT

The Mach 1 is putting out ~ 270 RWHP

The Cobra is putting out ~ 355 RWHP
