    Has anyone here ever used electroplating to add additional chrome to their vechiles? If so what did you think of it, and how does it look?

    I have seen it done on some of those Sunday hot rod shows but that is about it. It did look good when they show some before and after pics but most of the before`s were in pretty bad shape.

    Do you know if it possible to chrome plate over an alloy?

    Yes, it`s possible to chrome plate over an alloy. Some alloys, like aluminum, are easier to plate than others.
