    Hello,

I have an 07 Acura TSX which is carbon gray metallic in color. I had a scratch that was about 3 inches long and deep on the bottom of the driver`s side door. I attempted to wet sand it, and went too far. Now I have a 3 inch white mark as I went through the clear coat.

So, now I am looking at my options. Obviously, the perfect fix would be to have the door reprinted. I would rather not have to do that. Is there any kind of a fix for this that would make it look "ok"? I don`t need it to be perfect.

Last, I found a guy that does air brush touch-up. I am also looking at that option, and was wondering what you all thought of that repair.

If anyone has any advice, other than lesson learned don`t wet sand again, please let me know. I promise that will be the last time I do that!

    Thanks again!

Airbrush repair is great if you are selling it. Otherwise the answer is repaint. Opticoat can buy you some time before it turns into a mess.
