The "3-in-1" PDR Slide Hammer Glue Pulling Dent Repair Kit for Hail Damage and Door Dings : Amazon.com : Automotive

This one looks really complete and has multiple puller types. What do you think about this.

Anything else I`ll need besides a knock down tool and a stripe board?

How much are you guys charging for glue pull work?

I mostly want this to play with on my truck but then would use it at least enough to pay back the cost.

I have a couple of bridge type glue pullers. I`m sure a real pro can comment on how they are supposed to work, but for a hack like me, they just aren`t as accurate as a regular PDR rods.

Never bought the kit, but have built up the same basics over the past few years.

Word of advice, go pick up a damaged hood or truck lid, put various types of dents in it and "practice, practice, pratice", cause if you screw up, it gets expensive.

And just like with touchup paint/sanding/polishing/etc know when to stop. If it looks ALMOST perfect...leave it alone!!!!

The above was my first go. Still haven`t done much more after that, thankfully!

Save your money, dont buy tools until you get training. PDR is a skill that takes years to perfect. When you glue pull a dent it does not just pull level and stop. You will need to know how tap that metal back in place , how to read a fog or light board, hand eye coordination, and muscle memory. Not trying to discourage you, it is a great money maker. But it takes a large investment on your part.
