I recently upgraded the 38 year old BMW brake hoses to stainless steel and in the course of doing so several thing snowballed. They always do, I guess. I found 4 hard steel lines that were somewhat suspect and wanted to replace them at the same time. Luckily I could order the OEM brake lines right from the BMW dealer but unfortunately they were not pre-bent. So I had to do a little fabricating. It was slow going. Measure twice. Bend. Measure twice. Bend. In the end the project took me about 4 hours. But now the brake lines are better than new and should last longer than I do.
Tubing bending tools and some of the new lines.
A newly bent line and a couple old lines that were removed. They weren`t even flexible any more.
After everything was assembled it was time to pressure bleed.
