Just wondering if it`s possible to clearcoat a SATIN/MATTE paint finish without making it glossy? Here`s an example:
Satin Black Lexus GS
Thanks in advance!

Flattening agent + clearcoat
I do mobile detailing for friends and family. Might not be the absolute best, but I do it for free.

This is one of my bikes. It`s flat black with a clear on top.
Atleast with PPG what makes it mate/satin/what ever else you want to call it is the clear. For instance lamborghinis paint for balloon white (pearl white) is a tri coat of base pearl white color and clear where as the Bianco canopus (matte pearl white) is also a tri coat with a base coat pearl white and matte clear coat.
Its not called DETAILing for nothing
