I`m considering buying a 98 or 99 Honda Accord coupe.

I know that Honda has had some issues with clearcoat failure on early models, my 92 Prelude had major issues.

So, its been ten years, how the clearcoat holding up on the 98`s and 99`s??

    Thanks! :wavey

Environment will play a lot into this. My `00 Odyssey is holding up just fine in the LA area. It`s half taken care of as I usually don`t have time. My cousin has an `02 Accord coupe that has all kinds of CC failure but it`s in the Phoenix area.

I have seen a lot of late 90`s Honda cars that have CC failure on the hood and roof. This is in Louisiana.
