    Saturday long day two details and installing these made it long.

    took 3 hrs of beatin and bangin to remove the old one with 27 years of rusted bolts

    took old monroes off and put new monroes on

    Bit late but it rides good but i`ve got a new car now a 1989 nissan 300zx i still got the elky but its in the shop now parked

    Ha ha, I know you did this last year but your comments about 3 hours of banging reminds me of one of the stupider things I did to my `76 Buick when it was like 20 years old...I decided those original shocks must be worn out, right? Besides, I`ve never changed shocks, let me put some Monroe gas-overs on there! Nightmare after all those years of winter salt trying to get the damn things off...and I basically couldn`t tell any difference after anyway. Should have listened to my Buick manual (back when the manuals were worth a damn) where they said that 90% of the shocks returned to the factory after warranty replacement were fine and that the mechanic should check very carefully before changing out shocks.



    PS Somebody stole your catalytic converter!!

    Did you have to change out the air lines or were they ok?
    I didn`t touch it. Really.
