Hey guys, I have already asked the opinion of my fellow Volkswagen enthusiasts here in Michigan but would like a few outside opinions as well..

    As it sits today:

The question is...should I re-coat them the way they are with the purple or go with a Corvette Jet Stream Blue or Mini Cooper Electric Blue?

Now I know most of you wouldn`t want to drive around with purple lipped rims but I like the uniqueness of them and the attention they get...but would like opinions so I can decide what to schedule with the powder-coater

I would stick with the purple, but maybe get some tasteful purple accents elsewhere on your car.

Coming from another VW guy, I do not like the purple. I would prefer just a normal polished lip, but it`s whatever you like. I think the Corvette blue might look catchy and unique and doesn`t look as out of place as the purple.

Yeah, i`m going to say no on purple. For me, i`d polish them, silver looks killer with some polished metal/chrome on the car

thats like a girl who wears a low cut shirt for attention

not all attention is good attention man

i just don`t think any of the accents work to be honest

the big reason is that its only on your rims

i agree with the previous poster, polish those lips to a mirror shine !

another vote for just a polished lip. that purple throws off the clean look of your car, especially with those nice looking BBS/BBS-look-alike wheels.

Just my two cents, because I really like those centers - that`s a great wheel choice for the car. So....either polished, or if you have to have a color...black. Unless you`re considering other color accents to match I think purple (or blue) sticks out, but not in a good way...more of a Pep Boy`s/JC Whitney kind of way.

First off, get rid of those amber sidemarkers......

Second, I would get rid of the TA theme all together. I you need to get your suspension lower and more aggressive if you want to pull something off like that......

If you were to do something, I would TA them red..........
