We have a "98 Acura Cl with 2.0L Fuel Injected 4cyl. engine and I just did a tune up about 1 month ago, so today I was checking the timing settings etc on it, when I decided to pull of some wires because I thought the firing order was set wrong, which it wasn`t,...but anyhow a couple of the Acura CL distributor cap ends pulled out slightly, enough to see the wire behind them, and then they slid right back into the cap again...it still starts, and seems to run ok as before...but I`m wondering if I should replace the cap anyways?

If it has seen better days already I`d change it.

I wouldn`t want to have car not running probably in the middle of nowhere because of max 25$ parts.

Also the rotor at the same time.
