    its an obx 4-1 header. it eliminates the pre cat on my car which is the most restictive.









    install on saturday. im pretty stoked. no more 3 rpm rev at 60 mph in 5th gear =P

    Sweet! Post up some before and after sound clips when you`re done.



    How much did that run ya?



    I just helped my friend install some Kooks custom headers on his C5 Vette. We did a bunch of other mods so the install was fairly easy.

    this install was by far one of the easiest installs ive done













    it cost 240 dollars btw. pretty decent price for it. well worth it. ill get some sound clips up soon. the digi cam i had today didnt record sound.

    it was a breeze to put on really. if i get dynoed im expecting a little bit more then 112whp. what guy said he dynoed in at around 112whp 120 wtq. its not much, but i dont mind at all. car gets me from A to B rather nicely.

    not yet but i will as soon as the ECU realizes the pre cat is gone. i have a non fouler type rig to solve that issue tho. i just gotta drill it out.

    Four cylinder mazda? Youre right it does look quite easy. Did the gas mileage improve or decrease with the headers?

    well considering ive had it on for less then 24 hours im not to sure about my mileage lol.



    it actually already changed color. it went from stainless steel to that bronze that you see.

    Looks nice and when you get tired of the changed color just get it powder coated.
