    I`ve got some alloy wheels that have a clear coating on the outer rim. the spokes are bronze.

    The clearcoat is lifting and scratched/mared and needs to be stripped.



    After I do this, is it sufficient to keep them sealed with a good tire rim sealer/protector or will they tarnish ?

    If they are aluminum, they will oxidize without a cc to protect them, so, yes, you will have to polish them regularly if you want them to be shiny.

    yeah you pretty much have to keep then protected alllll the time. I think its worthit though. The look of polished rims is amazing
