Awesome pics, Mike! I assume the cam`s duration is a .050 lift, right? Should idle pretty well/decent vacuum on a 112 degree centerline too. My Chevelle`s last cam was a Comp Cams 292 Magnum...244 at .050 lift, .501 lift and 106 degree centerline. Incredibly lopey, 10" vacuum at 900 rpm. Had to drill holes in the primary plates of my Holley 4778 because even with an 1100 rpm idle, it`d drop to 600 rpm and be on verge of stalling without the holes! Once I drilled them out, 850 rpm idle in gear.
7 mpg city, 9 on the freeway though.
I bet your combo will be a lot more streetable. Amazing what computer tuning, roller cams, new head designs, etc have done for hotrodding. Hope you run it at the strip once in a while.
