It is with a heavy heart that I have to say...to be continued....
A heavy heart because the folks that I had perform the install are (were) good friends and clients of mine...and something is amiss with the car. After talking with a friend that I used to work with at another LSX tuner shop and showing him my numbers and letting him listen to my car at the Gathering car show Memorial Day weekend...it appears that the cam specs I was sold might not be the cam that is in the car!!!
I am not going to speculate further out of respect for people I once thought friends. The cam is getting pulled from the car this weekend and will be "Cam Doctored" meaning it will be measured to truly identify its specs.
I`ll keep everyone posted as this develops....

Man that sucks hopefully all will work out just fine.

Well...well...well....
Green numbers and graph are the base line from the previous shop. Red numbers and graph is what the car is making now. Interesting....considering it was 12 degrees warmer the day of the "after" pulls!!! :bat

Mike, Glad you where able to find a place to make you happy. Such a shame that the most popular shop is a joke.

Just if you didn`t know, if you use SAE numbers, they are corrected for temperature, pressure, and humidity. You can see the correction factor was greater for your later run. So the power should be pretty comparable irrespective of environment differences.Originally Posted by 1 Clean WS6

What did the Cam Doctor reveal? Is that where the missing power came from?
