    Help With BMW Saddle Bag

    Hi All,

My friend has a BMW motorcycle with the hard textured plastic saddle bags on it.

He had a scratch on one of them and decided to heat the area to smooth the scratch. It worked and the scratch is gone, but the area he heated is now smooth instead of textured like before.

I have no idea if this can be fixed or if he will have to seek a new bag or a bodyshop to fix it.

Any idea`s? The area of damage is to the lower left of the saddle bag! Sorry for the picture quality!

    Thanks!

Maybe you could check into plastic welding suppliers they might have some type textured stamp . Its a long shot but you never know. Maybe you could make your own stamp somehow.

    rollman.

Thanks for the idea! I had sort of the same idea, but without seeing the bag, it`s a little hard to see what might make a smilar texture!

    Great Idea!

    Thanks Again.
