50 hour Travel Trailer Detail (pic heavy)

I had been in contact with the gentleman who owns this camper for quite some time, but could never get our schedules in line in order to get it done. I knew just from talking to him, that this was going to be a huge job. We finally decided that the best thing to do would be for him to bring it to my house so I could have it for several days. He dropped it off on Wednesday, and I knew I was in for a ton of work once I saw it in person. The only problem was that we were leaving for Ohio that coming Monday, and I had to have it finished by then. So, I grabbed the phone and called in the Calvary. My friend Willie came out for a few hours on Friday evening, and also put in a 10 hour day on Saturday to help me finish the interior and also wash this monster, which took 5 hours alone with 2 men.
Kris Metje (member The Gloss Boss) came out on Sunday and also put in a 10 hour day just in polishing. If it wasn`t for these guys, I would have never finished this project on time. I am very grateful for their hard work and effort

Now on to the before pics

    And the interior

    More dust..

    And even more mold

Once we got it washed, it did look MUCH better, but it was also much more apparent that the gelcoat was very oxidized, especially on the back side. Kris arrived on Sunday morning armed with every polisher and polish in his arsenal, and we got started. I had already done a few test spots, and had a pretty good idea of what it was going to take to do this in the least amount of steps possible. After some more testing with different product and pad combos, we ended up using some Marine 31 Heavy Oxidation Cleaner (compound), mixed with their Final Finish Polish, as well as their Sealant/Wax. Basically making our own AIO. Some areas responded better to Orange pads, some liked Blue or White better. It was really just 10 hours of trial and error, but our mix of Marine 31 products worked flawlessly throughout.

Left side is polished, right side is not

Heres is a random shot of Kris hammering away

Apparently someone had been on this section before because it was covered in very heavy buffer trails

    Much better..

    And the afters

    And more afters..

One small rust stain still remained after the 1/2 inch of mold was removed from the carpet.

The owner was thrilled with the outcome. His plan was to take it straight from my house to a dealership, and trade it in on a new RZR, and that`s exactly what he did. Im really happy with how this one turned out. 50 man hours worth of work was put into this RV in total.
    Thanks for looking

This was as much disinfecting as it was detailing. I`m guessing this was a repo bought cheaply? I honestly can`t imagine all the work involved.......

Thank you all very much. Dan we had 50 hours total in it. My guys had 25 hours in it between the 2 of them, and I had another 25 hours in it myself.

It was actually purchased new by my client. They lived in it for a while, used it on the occasional vacation, etc. Then they rented it out for a year or so, and that`s when it started to get trashed. They eventually just parked it under a tree and never messed with it much, and that`s how it got into the condition that it was in when I got it. We got it all lined out though and ready for a new owner
