    Two Harley Details

These are two bikes that I did over this last two weekends. I love working at this shop. I get to use the scissor lift and lift each wheel independently so I can dial the rims in.

Both of these bikes where custom built by this shop, the brown customer 2011 pan head, it won 1st place in Ezrider show and was featured in the magazine.

nice bikes. i am always amazed at how long it takes to really detail a bike. i recently picked up a scissors lift too and it definitely makes things easier for wrenching and detailing.

These two bikes took about 5 hours each, I can do an SUV in that time.

Zoom, I`m a die hard Poorboys fan, have been for years. Every thing that I used on these two bikes was Steve`s.

Thanks everyone, I have a lot more pics of all kinds of bikes I`ve worked on.

It`s much like detailing car`s and such, develop the processes and they are no harder than any other detail. The real trick in detailing a bike is being able to get it off the ground.

This shows how I can lift the whole bike and then one wheel independently, I have and old office chair and work sitting down with in inches of the area I am cleaning.

Thats good to know. I figured the extra cracks and crevices would make for a lot more work.

for anyone interested, this is the scissor lift jack i recently purchased. money well spent if you do a lot of m/c details or just wrench and or detail your own. EPC Cycle Scissor Jack Kift
