    Another Boat,Another situation

Detailed a caddy last thursday at a house that sits almost on the water at one of the local lakes.

Got through and the lady said,do you do boats?
I replied that I will wash and clean anything.Sometimes I just need to um ,shut up!!.

Anyway ,she says to follow her to the boat house. She wants me to do her late husbands 15ft. kingfisher. We walk in and wham!!!Dirt city. Its been hanging up fr 5 years.I rubbed a small spot on the fiberglass part and wow what a nice looking color.

I give her a price and she accepts.Heres where it gets, well kinda funny
I told her that as soon as she gets it on a trailer and back up in her yard to call me and I would set up a time to do it.

She looks away and then turns back and with the straightest face says I don`t have the trailer anymore.Could you clean it up and wash it hanging up like it is.

I laughed and she didn`t.That woman is serious!!

How come it always happens to me.So about thursday or friday I`ll be goin in the boat house .
That is going to be a interesting day.

I`ve done a few boats... not that much different from cars, except they are usually trashed!!!

(And you have to lay on your back to polish the hull! Be sure to wear your safety glasses!!! )

LOL!!! : Yeah, you should be careful for sure! If it`s been hanging for that long, and you don`t know how old the straps are........:banghead::banghead::banghead:

    The boat has been cancelled

The lady decided she didn`t want to spend that much on it.
Got more money than she knows what to do with.

    Oh well.Next!:driving:

Nibbler ... you should offered to do the boat and her for the price you quoted.
:hurray: Sometimes you got to step up to the plate and swing for the fence.
