What are you using for gel coat?

I have been using Klasse AIO/SG on our gel coat rv and while I am please with the results I am curious as to what other fiberglass chemicals are out there.

Hi Tom, in referring to chemicals, I am assuming that you referring to `LSP`s, or Last Step Products, as in waxes and sealants.

Klasse has been used forever on Gel-Coat and for good reason. KAIO is does a great job chemically cleaning the coating, ensuring that the Sealant Glaze will `stick` or bond. Sealant Glaze can be very easy to use as well. I like to put a little in a fine mist spray bottle, and lightly mist a section. Then using a microfiber I will buff it even, then flip the towel, and buff it dry (you will feel the paint slicken immediately. For large vehicles, such as an RV, it really doesn`t get easier to cover large amounts of surface area.

If you are looking for long lasting, more traditional product, the new Glacier Polish is a nice one step cleaner/sealant that offers a slightly deeper shine. Simply apply with a little bit of passion or with a Porter Cable and a Lake Country Kompressor Black Finishing pad, allow to haze and remove.

    Tom,
I wish I had seen your question earlier. However, If you see this reply, I have a 34` Sea Breeze 5th wheeler. Thought I was doing the right thing but using automovtive cleaning products to clean and polish my 5`er. Well long story short, finally found, and now understand how to clean gel-coat, some great products on PAC. Gel Coat labs has the best cleaning products I have ever seen. 47 hours later, I paid the price for now understanding gel-coat construction and how to clean and keep up. Upkeep is now really easy and my 2000 rig looks new. Got anymore questions, just reply.

I did a badly water-spotted jet ski and sealed it with Opti Coat. It did a great job.
